Productions MAEVE is proud to announce that Steve’s « Fireworks » was underlined « Special Merit » at the 8th Annual « Abstracts» Art Competition of Light Space & Time online Gallery  !

The gallery received 887 entries from 36 different countries from around the world, among them : Australia, Bosnia, Canada, China, Germany, India, Northern Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Scotland, South Africa, United Kingdom.

The Art of Steve Otis is a fantastic world of colors, rogue forms. His art brings the viewer into a world where the eye is drawn at first towards the realist rendering, then they are slowly drawn to his abstract use of raw intense colors.

Steve Otis is not afraid to trick the eye into believing that a simple splash of paint can be suddenly transformed into a sinewy human body, a true feast of visual stimuli. Art in its raw form.

Steve Otis has been producing art since 1990. He has worked as an art teacher, graphic artist, illustrator of CCG games and sculptor.

He has participated in many collective and solo shows and produced a sizeable body of work in the last 25 years

We are very happy to announce that Steve’s artwork will now be permanently represented by KONTROLLED CHAOS in the US!
